I personally agree with this quote by Count Leo Tolstoy. The meaning of this statement is that you might be alive and existing but if you aren't doing whats right you aren't really living. When you are doing the right you are being positive and looking at the bright side of life. Living life doing the correct thing will get you far in life. It will help you become a better person. An example of living a good life doing the right is when you see something you know is not right and you speak up instead of just see and seal. There really isn't a "correct" way to live life. The only thing is if you choose to do the right thing you will most likely be more joyful , and happy knowing that you did the right thing. You can choose how you wanna live your life but before choosing think before you actually choose. Think about you wanna be a good person who helps others and does the right thing or someone who is in and out of jail.

WRING IS NEVER RIGHT

I agree with this statement that talks about how wrong is never right. Dr. Russell M. Nelson is right wrong is never right just as right is never wrong.  Doing the wrong will have very bad consequences for those actions. Meanwhile, on the other hand, doing the right thing will make you feel good, and bring good things into your life. We should all strive to do the correct thing, and try our hardest to stay away from choosing the wrong. Just because you see everyone else living the CTW life doesn't mean you should too. You should be different and choose to live life the right way, not doing ctw things to fit in. 

Student Success Statements

I personally agree with this statement by Thomas S. Monson. If you are doing the correct and right thing there is no way that you can be doing the wrong thing, because right is right, and wrong is wrong. An example of doing the right thing is finding something that does not belong to you and returning it. The wrong thing in this situation is keeping the item you found, and not returning it. We should always strive to do our best and to always do the right thing. You should achieve to do the right thing not because it leaves a good reputation for you, but because you know that it is the right thing to do. In any situation no matter what we should always try our hardest to do the right thing in a situation. You should always remember that right is right and wrong is wrong there is no case in which it would be different or switch.

Student Success Statement

Coach Dean Smith was a very wonderful, and CTR man. He brought such an amazing legacy to the University of North Carolina. He was doing the right thing not expecting anything in return, just like how we should be doing. Do something because you know it's the right thing to do not for the credit or fame. We should always try our best to leave a good reputation for ourselves instead of a bad one. Dean Smith chose his players based on character not only skills, he only wanted CTR people on his team.

In Bad Company

The meanung of this reflection is that it's always better to isolate yourself from others and be on your own rather than being with friends/ people who aren't good influence. I personaly agree with this statement because being in the wring crowd will not do you any good. It will only cause you to do things you will regret sooner or later. On the other hand being alone or witht he right friends will do you good. The reason for this is because there won't be anyone infuencing you into the wrong pather. An example of this is from a video we just wtached a student was hanging around with the wring crowd, not doing homework, and coming home a day or weeeks late. The consequence of this was that he almost didn't graduate. This all changed once he moved school where he got help for subjects he didn't understand, and stopped hanging around with the wrong crowd. The rewad he got for all this was he was able to graduate because he finally put the effort needed.

Manners .

Manners are a very important things, that we all should have/ do in our everyday life. Having manners shows the type of person that you are. They show how respectful and good of a person you are if you have them/ do them. Some examples of having good manners are opening the door for someone, saying please, thank you, letting a lady go first, cleaning up after yourself, and many more. Some example of having bad manners are not pushing in your chair, being in others way, being loud, and rude. Having good manners shows that we were raised right, and taught to do things right, they will also show people the type of person you are. No matter the day of the time always use you manners because it is the right thing to do. Use them everywhere and never forget them.

Statement: I personally agree with this statement, because it is true if something isn't true why lie? lying will not get you anywhere in life, it will only cause people to not trust you. Also if something is not right why do it? You will only have consequences from doing something you aren't suppose to be doing. An example of "If it is not true do not say it" is spreading rumors that aren't true. Spreading rumors in general isn't good, especially if they are lies which is even worse. An example of "If it is not right don't do it" is cheating for example on a test. You know that cheating isn't good so why are you gonna go ahead and do it. We should stay away from doing things that are not right, and saying stuff that we shouldn't, and just do the right things. 

Honesty

This statement is true, and being honest is very important in life. When you are honest you earn trust from others, and are a CTR person. Examples of being honest include not cheating, not lying, and being loyal. I try to always be honest, because lying will not get you anywhere. The only thing you'll get from being a dishonest person is you'll loose people's trust, and be a CTW person. You have to be a honest person because lying will only harm you, like in a job if you lie like let's say on your resume and hire you because you said you were capable of doing something your not, then ask you to do it. They can fire you, and not trust you, and the word can get around and most job's will not want to hire you because you lied, or you  won't be trust in the workplace. 

Thanksgiving Week

For my thanksgiving break I didn't really do much, I worked on the first Saturday of the break, woke up late, watched Netflix, and go to my aunts house. I didn't really go anywhere because everyone in my family had a cold, and it was raining. I didn't meet anyone new because I didn't really go out. The movies i watched were on Disney + which were monsters university, and up. I didn't really watch or play any sports this week. Some CTR experiences I had this week helping a lady without being asked because it looked like she needed help. During my break I didn't really read any books. I also didn't have any homework which was really good, because I got to enjoy my break.

I agree with this quote by Yong-In Shin. The reason i agree with this quote is because doing the wrong will in fact always be wrong no matter what it is that it might be. No matter what you should always choose to do the right thing, don't do it for the reward do it because you know it is the right thing to do. An example of doing the right thing is the football players who went into the store. They entered the store not knowing it was closed because of the lock malfunction. They were in a store where they can just do whatever they want because no one was there, no employee, but instead they just got the stuff they needed. They didn't see any worker around so they did some mental math and left the money on the counter. They were notexpecting a wrong or anythign because they were just doing what was right, but the owner saw the videos and wanted to reward them. Always do the right thing no matter what, because it is the right thing to do.

Choosing a good name

The meaning of this quote is that it is better to have a good name, such as a good reputation with people rather than to have an awful name with great riches. It doesn't matter how much money you have, what defines you is who you are as a person. Having a good names comes from treating others with respect, and doing good deeds without being asked too. It's how others will remember you by.  Having all the money in the world will not define you as a person, that's just materialistic things, but it's what is in your heart that defines who you are. 

A CTR CHAMPION

Student Success Statement 
"A CTR champion is a person who makes a great human out of himself" - Noemi Trigueros

I think this quote by Noemi is very true! To be a champion you don't have to be an athlete or do something sports related to be a champion. You can be a champion at heart. Knowing that you did the right thing will make you  champion, and make YOU feel good about yourself. You shouldn't need a medal or a trophy to feel like a champion, because doing something good for others without doing it because you want a reward is the greatest feeling of all. An example of a CTR champion is Jonathan Montanus who did something without expecting a big reward in return, he passed the ball to the Mitchell the manager of the opposite team, and it was his first time being in the field, he wasn't making any shots so Jonathan decided to throw Mitchell the ball and he made his first shot. This shows how Jonathan was being a CTR person, and all of this resulted in other schools wanting him and offering him a scholarship. Jonathan wasn't expecting any of this he was just doing what was right, which resulted in a big award.

FEEL RIGHT

"You cannot do wrong and feel right. It is impossible" - Ezra Taft Benson

I personally agree with this quote by Ezra Benson. What he is saying is very true. When you do bad you will always carry that guilt with you, and not know how to get rid of it. But if you do good, and choose to do the right thing, you will feel good about yourself. It is always better to decide to do the right thing instead of the wrong, because no guilt will follow you. An example of this is cheating on a test, if you cheat on a test you know that you got that good grade doing bad, you didn't only cheat on the test but you cheated yourself, because you don't actually understand or deserve that garde. You didn't work hard for that grade. So yes i agree with this quote you can never do anything wrong, and ever feel good about it.

Decisions

"Decisions Determine Destiny"

My opinion on the quote is that it is true, your decisions really do determine your destiny. It is important to always choose to do what is right rather than what is wrong. Many choose to do what is wrong because it is the easy way out of something, which isn't always the correct decisions. Choosing what.s wrong will always come back and make you realize, and think about how if you would have chosen the right you would have gotten a better outcomes. Choosing to do the wrong isn't always a bad thing something it's a good thing, because you learn from your mistakes for next time. You make decisions everyday in your life, such as if you should do this or that.

Class Evaluation

1.) What I liked about this class is that we got to learn about a different career everyday.Another thing i liked is that we had time outs so we can have a little break while Mr.Haymore talked.The last thing i liked was how he taught us how to create our own sort of website in google sites.
2.) The only thing that i did not like about this class was that if we forgot our life planning goals we lost a lot of points for it. That was probably the only thing i disliked about the class.
3.)The only recommendation i have for improving this class is that we shouldn't do student success statements everyday because sometimes we run out of things to write about.
4.) I don't really read my life planning goals journal everyday out of school for 5 minutes. The reason i don't do this everyday is because i forget it in my locker and can't get it till the next day.
5.) I am not always committed to being a CTR but most of the time i try to choose the right. I think before making any decisions so i can make the right one.
6.) Something i learned in this class that can help others is i can  help them crate a blogger or use certain websites people don't use on the daily.
7.) Something I will always remember about this class is the songs Mr.Haymore always played

In Acting Well

Student Success Statement :

The meaning of this statement is  that if you do what's right and act well then you will be an honorable person. In any situation you might be in always choose to do the honorable thing. Acting your part well will not only make you an honorable person but will also get you a good name of yourself. An example of this is how the gymnastics Physician Larry Nassar was a well known doctor. He was well jnown by everyone but his did something horrible , he sexually assulted gymnist on the team. From one day to another he went from a good physician who everyone liked to a criminal. This quoote has different meaning to it like how you act around teachers, friends, and parents will determine how honorable you are.

Good Quality People

The meaning of this statement is who you hang out with can determine how you'll end up. Hanging around the wrong people will not only cause you to not do the right thing but it may also cause you to end up in a bad way , like in jail. Who you choose to hang around with can influence you in a good or bad way. If you hang out with good people they might influence you to do the right thing, and influence you to do better. An example of this is lets say your hanging around the kids who do marijuana, drink, and are always into trouble, you might not do this but you might end up like them. The way you might end up like them is if you are trying to fit in so you do exactly as them. Choosing who you hang out with might have a great inpact in your life. You can choose to become a good person witha good name, or to become someone who spends all there money on drugs and alcohol. Before making  a decision think about what is best for you.

The meaning of this quote is if you choose the right path you will be successful. Doing the right thing thing  will get you far in life than other people who choose to do the wrong thing. When choosing to do the right thing you feel happier with yourself, and you feel proud. An example of this is lets say you find a wallet on the street and you open it to see the id to see who it belongs to and you see their is like three hundred dollars inside you shouldn't take them you should return them. Don't think about what you can do with the money but instead thing on who you can give it to so it can be returned to its owner. Doing the right thing will tell people you are a trustable person. It will  also show that you are a honorable person , with a good name.
