Duties and Responsibilities: 
Ophthalmologist are physicians who specialize in the treatment of eye disorders and diseases. They treat vision problems and write prescriptions for both pharmaceuticals and corrective eyeglass lenses. When necessary, they perform eye surgery. Most ophthalmologist are in private practice, however some are employed by hospital clinics, and others perform research.
Average Annual Salary: 
$90,000- $150,000
Education Requirements: 
Only physicians may study to become ophthalmologist. After completing medical school and an internships, an ophthalmologist must then complete a three to five year residency in an approved ophthalmologist program. After completing their residency program they must pass an examination to be certified.

Yes I would actually like to be an ophthalmologist because it sounds really cool. You are helping others see the world with 20/20 visions, and or helping people who have eye problems.  I really enjoy helping others and helping them fix a problem they might have. 

Optometry Technician

Duties and responsibilities: They are responsible for testing patients visual acuity , depth perception, color vision , and eye reflexes. They also prepare exam schedules , and help in the preparing of glasses.

Salary: The average salary for an optometry technician is $11 an hour and $22, 260 annually.

Education: The only education required is a high school diploma.

Demand or need : You need 1-2 years of training in any community college.

Reflection: The good part about this job is that there aren't a lot of years of studying. In my opinion i would not like to do this job.It doesn't sound interesting enough for me. 

Optometrist

Duties and Responsibility : Optometrist are responsible for performing vision test and analyzing them. They diagnose prescription glasses if needed. if surgery is needed they might recommend it to you. 
Salary: The annual payment for an optometrist is $103, 900 and hourly they get payed $49.95. 
Education: To become an optometrist you need a doctoral degree or a professional degree.
Demands: To become an optometrist you need to pass the national exam in order to get your license.
