Duties and Responsibilities: 
Ophthalmologist are physicians who specialize in the treatment of eye disorders and diseases. They treat vision problems and write prescriptions for both pharmaceuticals and corrective eyeglass lenses. When necessary, they perform eye surgery. Most ophthalmologist are in private practice, however some are employed by hospital clinics, and others perform research.
Average Annual Salary: 
$90,000- $150,000
Education Requirements: 
Only physicians may study to become ophthalmologist. After completing medical school and an internships, an ophthalmologist must then complete a three to five year residency in an approved ophthalmologist program. After completing their residency program they must pass an examination to be certified.

Yes I would actually like to be an ophthalmologist because it sounds really cool. You are helping others see the world with 20/20 visions, and or helping people who have eye problems.  I really enjoy helping others and helping them fix a problem they might have.
