Student Success Statement 

The meaning of this statement is that being rich, strong etc is just something you just physically have that anyone else can have but having a good heart is not something everyone has. You may have all the riches in the world but with all the money you have that won't buy you a good heart. An example of this is you might be one of the riches people in the world but without a good heart you might not really be liked by many people. Having a good heart will also get you a good name that people will remember. Having a good heart means caring for others, being respectful, sharing, and helping out others in need. All of these good actions will get you far in life. Having beauty, great strength, and being rich is fun and all but having a good heart will get you far, and a good name.

Choosing a good name

" A good name is rather to be chosen than great riches" - PROVERBS 22:1

The meaning of this quote is that it is better to have a good name, such as a good reputation with people rather than to have an awful name with great riches. It doesn't matter how much money you have, what defines you is who you are as a person. Having a good names comes from treating others with respect, and doing good deeds without being asked too. It's how others will remember you by.  Having all the money in the world will not define you as a person, that's just materialistic things, but it's what is in your heart that defines who you are.
