The meaning of this statement is that doing whats wrong will never gain you anything. When you choose to do the wrong there are many consequences that your actions can cause from it like jail and other things. An example of this is how the girl in the video we watched was an xanax and lied about not being on it, then flipped off the judge which got her into even more trouble. She didn't gain anything from this instead i think she got a couple more years in jail because she wasn't aware of what she was doing because of the drugs she was on. When she was in the courtroom again with no drugs in her system she kind of regreted everything she did, she even apologized. We should all be aware of our actions because we will soon regret them.Its like the saying No bad deal goes unpunished. We will all sooner or later end up regreting what we did or paying for our consequenes.
