Pediatric Surgeon

                 Pediatric Surgeon

- I choose this topic because it sounds like a really interesting job. There's pro's and con's like when you save children and see them get better , the con is when you're in the middle if surgery and the surgery doesn't go as planned.

- Pediatric surgeons are responsible for doing surgery on kids / teens under the age of 18. Depending on you're specialty that's what you will most likely work on.I like general pediatric surgery that means you work with the main organs like the liver, kidneys, bowel, etc. They are responsible for setting up surgery's , answering questions, and doing the surgery. A pediatric surgeon gets paid $343,836- 533,056 annually. To become a surgeon you need about 11 years of training. You need to attend at least 4 years of medical school, 5 years studying general surgery, and 2 years in training in residency in pediatric surgery. If you wanna become a surgeon you must be certified by the american board of surgery. When babies are born with birth defects you are responsible for repairing it. You treat children since birth till there adolescence.
